Updating a previous posting, Republican Jewish Coalition Chairman Sam Fox was given a recess appointment. He will become Ambassador to Belgium.
Fox's nomination had been blocked in the Senate, because he made a $50,000 contribution to fund the false smear attack against John Kerry in 2004. The attacks spread false information about Senator Kerry's heroism in Vietnam.
