This story, about what happens when anti-Semitism rears its ugly head, refuses to say die -- and we all should help keep it alive. As it turns out, the anti-Constitution folks at "Stop the ACLU" got involved (despite the fact that the ACLU is not involved -- what does that say about their motives?) by posting the address of the Dobrich family. In a response to a letter congratulating his organization on their "victory," Stop the ACLU director Nedd Kareiva writes:
I am pleased that we had an effect in this case. We have others we want to put up on the site to shame them but have not gotten around to it.
The right's new tactic of "shaming" the people who attack it by publishing their private residences is shameful. As long as they are allowed to continue in this way, nobody is safe. At the same time, it's worth noting that a number of bloggers in the Stop the ACLU coalition have condemned Kareiva's action.
